Context

At Neurones IT, I led the multi-cloud Containerization & Orchestration squad. Creating a production-ready Kubernetes cluster was still expert work — and different work on every cloud, for every distribution.

Challenge

Industrialize cluster creation and management across four clouds and several distributions (Vanilla, K3S, RKE/RKE2, OpenShift), in a multi-tenant model — without sacrificing ease of use.

Solution

Platform design and end-to-end technical leadership, from the multi-tenant model to the interface.
Go microservices backend orchestrating the full cluster lifecycle.
Infrastructure as Code provisioning with Pulumi, node configuration with Ansible.
Support for the Vanilla Kubernetes, K3S, RKE/RKE2, and OpenShift distributions, on AWS, GCP, Azure, and OVH.
Next.js frontend: self-service cluster creation, tracking, and management.
